Óðinn Þór Ríkharðsson, one of the left-handed wings on the Icelandic national team, comes from Kópavogur and started his handball journey with HK. At the age of 18, Óðinn signed with Fram in Reykjavík, before moving to Denmark to play with GOG Håndbold and later TTH Holstebro.
Returning to Iceland in 2021, Óðinn joined KA, Akureyri. During his time at KA, he was temporarily loaned to Gummersbach in Germany before ultimately securing a contract with Kadetten Schaffhausen in Switzerland, where he currently resides.
Despite his young age, Óðinn is an experienced player, but during the 2022-23 season, he emerged as the top scorer in the European League, contributing an impressive 100 goals.
